R.I.P MYLES GOODWYN from April Wine

It’s a sad day for Canadian music as we just lost one of the greatest and most under rated musicians of all-time….MYLES GOODWYN from APRIL WINE.

For those of you who know me well, I’ve always praised APRIL WINE as my favorite Canadian band ever. Led by MYLES GOODWYN, this band gifted us with many amazing songs including “Bad Side of the Moon”, “You Coulda Been a Lady”, “Oowatanite”, “I Like to Rock”, “Sign of the Gypsy Queen”, and “Roller” (to name just a few).

On April 18th, 2010, MYLES GOODWYN and the other members of April Wine were all inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

On December 20th 2022, it was announced that he would be retiring from the band due to poor health. Earlier today (December 3rd 2023), MYLES GOODWYN passed away after battling cancer. He was 75….

As a memorial to this great musician, I’ve included a link to my favorite all-time April Wine song…Rest in Peace MYLES GOODWYN!
