“TOO MUCH HEAVEN” by MAURICE GIBB and the Bee Gees

Maurice Gibb, born on December 22nd, 1949, was a British musician, singer, and songwriter who was best known as a member of the BEE GEES, one of the most successful and influential pop groups ever.

Along with twin brother Robin Gibb and older brother Barry Gibb, he helped form the Bee Gees, a dynamic trio that achieved international fame for their harmonies, songwriting, and contributions to the disco era. A career that spanned several decades, the Bee Gees achieved success with singles like “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?”, “To Love Somebody”, “Jive Talkin’”, “Night Fever”, “Stayin’ Alive”, “How Deep is Your Love?”, “You Should Be Dancing”, and “Tragedy” (just to name a few).

On this very day, January 12th 2003, MAURICE GIBB passed away in Miami Beach, Florida, due to complications from a twisted intestine. Released on October 24th 1978, here’s the late MAURICE GIBB and the Bee Gees, with “TOO MUCH HEAVEN”….
