R.I.P. Joe Diffie
Joe Diffie was an American country singer and songwriter who was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 28th, 1958. He gained popularity (in the 1990s) for his distinctive voice, traditional honky-tonk style, and his unique way of telling stories.
Some of his most well-known songs include “Third Rock from the Sun”, “John Deere Green”, “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox”, and today’s song choice. Throughout his career he has received many accolades, including a 1993 CMA Award, and a 2002 Grammy Award for “Best Country Collaboration with Vocals”.
