HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN FOGERTY

John Fogerty is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who is best known as front man for the classic rock band, Creedence Clearwater Revival. Together, they achieved immense success with a series of hit songs, including “Bad Moon Rising”, “Proud Mary”, “Fortunate Son”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?”, and today’s song choice.

After CCR disbanded in 1972, Fogerty embarked on a solo career, releasing popular hits like “Centerfield” and “Blue Moon Swamp”. In 1993, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

On this very day, May 28th 1945, John Cameron Fogerty was born in Berkeley, California (to parents Edith Lucille and Galen Robert Fogerty). In celebration of his birthday, exactly 79 years ago today, I’ve chosen one of CCR’s most popular singles. If you’d like to have a listen, please feel free to use the provided link. Taken from the album, “Cosmo’s Factory”, here’s CCR, alongside today’s birthday boy, JOHN FOGERTY, with “LOOKIN’ OUT MY BACK DOOR”….
