“Last Christmas” by George Michael

“Last Christmas” is a popular Christmas song that was written by the late George Michael of Wham.

Released in 1984, the lyrics within tell a tale of heartbreak during the holiday season. Despite the melancholic theme, the song is set to an upbeat and catchy musical arrangement that compliments the lyrics.

The accompanying music video portrays Wham members, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley on a skiing trip with their respective girlfriends. It becomes clear that the character of Ridgeley’s girlfriend was previously in a relationship with Michael, and that the song is aimed at her. I think that would be considered more naughty than nice.
