“DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU GOT ‘TIL IT’S GONE” by TOM KEIFER

Tom Keifer is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as lead vocalist for the rock band, Cinderella. His raspy and soulful voice became a defining characteristic of the bands’ overall sound.

He formed Cinderella (in the mid-1980s), which would go on to release their debut album, “Night Songs” (in 1986), featuring hits like “Shake Me” and “Nobody’s Fool”.

Throughout the late 1980s and early nineties, the band released several albums, which featured hits like “Gypsy Road”, “Coming Home”, and the song I chose for you today.

After Cinderella went on hiatus (in 1995), Tom Keifer decided to pursue a solo career. His enduring presence in the rock music scene, both with Cinderella and as a solo artist, has earned him respect among fans of hard rock around the world.

On this very day, January 26th, 1961, Carl Tom Kiefer was born in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
