Beyoncé is an American singer and songwriter who rose to fame (in the late 1990s) as lead singer of the R&B girl group, Destiny’s Child. Some of their most popular songs include “Say My Name”, “Survivor”, “Independent Women”, and today’s song choice (that can be listened to by clicking on the provided link). As a solo artist, Beyonce had many more hit singles, including “Crazy in Love”, “Irreplaceable”, “Single Ladies”, “If I were a Boy”, and “Break My Soul” (to name just a few).

Amongst her many accolades, she has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, and has won a record 32 Grammy Awards.
