HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER CETERA
Peter Cetera is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who is best known as the original lead vocalist for Chicago. Originally known as Chicago Transit Authority, this group recorded a string of popular songs, including “25 or 6 to 4”, “Saturday in the Park”, “Hard to Say I’m Sorry”, “You’re the Inspiration”, and today’s song choice (that can be listened to by clicking on the provided link).
In 1985, he left Chicago to pursue a solo career, achieving success with hits like “Glory of Love” and “The Next Time I Fall”. Among his many accolades, in 2016, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2020, he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
