R.I.P. AMY WINEHOUSE

Amy Winehouse was a talented singer-songwriter who was born in London, England on September 14th 1983. She rose to fame with her soulful voice, retro-inspired style, and a blend of various musical genres, including Jazz, R&B, and Soul. In 2008, she won five Grammy Awards, tying the record (at that time) for most wins by a female artist in a single night.

On this very day, July 23rd 2011, Amy Jade Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning (at the tender age of 27).
