R.I.P. RICKY NELSON

Ricky Nelson was an American singer and musician who was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on May 8th, 1940. His entertainment career began when he joined his family’s TV show, “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” (in 1952). This platform eventually catapulted him as one of America’s first teen idols.

On this very day, December 31st 1985, Eric Hilliard Nelson died in a plane crash on his way to perform a New Year’s Eve concert. He was 45 years old at the time of his death.
