Pitbull is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer, who is known for his energetic and dynamic style, incorporating an eclectic mix of hip-hop, reggaeton, and dance music. Due to his global appeal, he is affectionately known to his fans as “Mr. Worldwide”.

He initially gained mainstream attention (in 2004) with his debut album “M.I.A.M.I.”, which included the hit single “Culo”. He continued to rise to prominence with popular dancefloor bombs like “Fireball”, “I Know You Want Me”, and “Don’t Stop the Party”. He has also collaborated with a wide range of artists such as Jennifer Lopez (with “On the Floor”), Ne-Yo (with “Give Me Everything”), and Kesha (with “Timber”).

On this very day, January 15th, 1981, he was born in Miami, Florida, as Armando Christian Perez to a Cuban family with a history of fighting against the Castro regime. In celebration of his birthday, exactly 43 years ago today, I’ve chosen one of my favorite (and slightly underrated) dancefloor bombs.
