Percy Sledge was an American soul and gospel singer who was born in Leighton, Alabama on November 25th, 1940.
Some of his most popular hits include “Warm and Tender Love”, “Take Time to Know Her”, and today’s song choice. In 2005, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
